360 Degrees of Prayer
Pastor Chris has been leading us through a series of sermons lately collectively titled “360 Degrees of Prayer.” In this series we are taking a comprehensive look at what the Bible teaches about prayer. We are seeking to answer the who, what, when, where, why, and how of prayer. We are exploring the teachings of Christ regarding this fundamental subject. We are trying to learn and apply the biblical do’s and dont’s of prayer. As Pastor Chris teaches on this spiritual necessitty he uses the Lord’s prayer as a model or bridge from which to weave all of the other related themes.
The individual sermons to date have been…
- The Prayer of Importunitty
- The Basis of Confidence in Prayer
- Our Father in Heaven (to whom we pray)
- Our Father’s Hallowed Name (reverence in prayer)
- Thy Kingdom Come (seeking and doing the will of God)
- Bread, Day by Day
When is the last time you prayed? Really prayed? What’s preventing you from being able to come before God and share your heart with Him? Whatever it is, it’s not worth it. Let us encourage you to work out any differences you have with the Lord so you can freely and confidently bare your soul to Him knowing how much He cares for you.
We invite all who are able to come and join us this Sunday, during the morning service, to find out more about this privelege called prayer. Of course we welcome all who can to join us in any of our services, whether morning, afternoon, or evening.
